Dwayne “The Rock” (“La Roca”) Johnson se encuentra en negociaciones para protagonizar una nueva película Hércules que prepara los estudios MGM, basada en el Cómic de Steve Moore y Admira Wiyaja “Hercules: The Thracian Wars”, y que tendrá a Brett Ratner (X-Men: The Last Stand) como director, y Ryan Condal como guionista según informa el sitio web de Variety. “La Roca” además participará próximamente en la segunda parte de la saga “G.I. Joe” y estará en el nuevo proyecto de Michael Bay, “Pain and Gain”. A esto se suma su retorno a la sexta película de la saga “Rápido y Furioso”, prevista para el 2013. Nota: (17 de enero de 2013) La película se estrenará el 8 de agosto de 2014. Los estudios responsables de esta nueva adaptación son MGM y Paramount Pictures.
